RBI Grade B Officers 2016 Notification Out !
(1) Important dates:
Online Registration and payment of fee :18 July , 2016 to August 9,2016
Phase I Online Examination : 04-09-2016
Phase II Online Exam :19-09-2016
(2) Eligibility Criteria:
a. Age (as on 01/07/2016): Between 21 and 30 years
b. Educational Qualification (as on 01/07/2016): A minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) or an equivalentgrade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th and 10th standard examinations
(3) Number of attempts: Candidates belonging to unreserved i.e. General Category, who had already appeared Six times for Phase-I Examination for this post in the past, are not eligible to apply. No such restriction applies to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD, if the posts are reserved for them.
(4) Scheme of Selection:
Selection will be through Examinations and Interview. Examinations will be held in two phases [Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type) and Phase-II ON-LINE Examinations – Paper II is Descriptive and Paper I and III are Objective]
(A) Phase-I ON-LINE Examination (Objective Type): Duration – 120 Minutes
Max Marks – 200
The objective paper comprises of i) General Awareness ii) English Language iii) Quantitative Aptitude and iv) Reasoning.
Cut off marks : Candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each test as well as aggregate.Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each Test will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the Examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Objective Test.
(II) Phase-II ON-LINE Examination – Paper II is Descriptive and Paper I and III are Objective] :
Paper pattern : Three Papers – 300 marks
Paper-I – Economic and Social Issues – 1½ hours – 100 marks
Paper-II – English ( writing skills) – 1½ hours – 100 marks (Descriptive, to be typed with the help of the keyboard)
Paper-III – Finance & Management – 1½ hours – 100 marks
** Candidate will have to appear in only one shift of Phase-I online examination.
** Candidate will have to appear in all the shifts of Phase-II online examination.
(5) Final Selection : Final selection will be through merit lists which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II (Paper-I + Paper-II + Paper-III) and Interview.
(6) Application fee : Rs 850 for Gen/OBC and Rs 100 for others.
(7) HOW TO APPLY ON-LINE :
Candidates have to apply only online through the Bank’s website i.e. www.rbi.org.in from 18/07/2016 to 09/08/2016. No other means/mode of applications will be accepted.
